Your lives are valued.
Your injuries matter.
Your voices are heard.
You’ve been denied justice, dignity, safety, jobs, and equal rights for far too long, and – you are deserving of justice, recompense, and redress for all that you have wrongfully and unjustly endured.
The Bible reminds us that faith without works is dead, and that the second greatest commandment given is to love your neighbor. We are also reminded that there is a day of judgment and justice (2 Peter 2:9 and Proverbs 11:31) – individuals who diminish and devalue Black lives will be held accountable. These promises speak not only of heavenly and spiritual judgment and justice, but of judgment and justice on earth.
Be encouraged!
Stay encouraged!
Be vigilant: justice and judgment will come.
The Reparations project is the greatest legacy that we as a company can give to the world – to redress and counter the systemic organized physical and sexual violence and gross deprivation of civil and human rights unjustly committed against Black descendants of U.S. government sanctioned slavery. We are steadfast and resolved to ensure that the project and its proceeds are meticulously developed and rolled out with equity, love, and hope at its core.
Our commitment and love for Black descendants of U.S. government sanctioned slavery is everlasting, and never ending. For the safety and wellbeing of staff and their families, we have largely been relatively mute on social media – however, we are here, and behind-the-scenes, we continue to advocate for you and to fight for your rights (the Reparations project is ongoing and strong).
You are ever in our thoughts and prayers.
Each kind word or deed is recorded (for a time when we are able to reward you openly for your support); your encouragement, trust, support, and advocacy has not gone unnoticed, nor is it taken for granted. And, to those who have earlier this year trusted us with their contact information – check your email or mailbox on Christmas morning.
From our family to yours, we wish you a Merry Christmas, and the brightest New Year.
Warm Wishes,
Theresa Giovanna
